Thomson Ecology has launched a new programme which is aimed at developing future leaders, as we start a major expansion programme and recruitment drive.
We have been expanding into environmental consultancy in recent years and are looking within the company for future leaders, and members of the senior management team, and also actively recruiting for new talent. The new programme will begin in June. An initial six people will go through the programme in the first year as part of a pilot scheme and the aim is to roll it out more widely in 2019.
Nancy Thomson, CEO of Thomson Ecology said, “We are entering an exciting period of growth and we want to ensure that our best employees come with us on the next stage of that journey. Our staff are our most important asset and we see the value of investing in them to guarantee the future success of the company. We have spent a lot of time in the last year, working to ensure that good performance is recognised within the company, and that new employees feel comfortable and settle in quickly with the help of a buddy system.”
“We have built a strong middle management team and we now want to develop a strong leadership and senior management team as we seek major expansion and move more heavily into environmental consultancy over the next few years. Our success will be built on our expertise and we want to ensure that we retain the brightest and the best within Thomson Ecology.”
We offer a wide range of environmental services including water resource management, such as hydrology, SuDS and hydrogeology, as well as landscape architecture, alongside the existing ecology services, habitat management, arboriculture, geospatial and marine services.
