Simon Mackrell has joined the Habitats team as General Manager.
Simon has worked in the landscape industry for over 25 years, during which time he has had a wide variety of roles. These have included Regional Manager for Mitie Landscapes, Operations Manager for Q Landscaping, and he has also run his own business. Whilst working as Contracts Manager at G Burley & Sons, Simon worked on some interesting projects on Royal residences, including Windsor Castle, Buckingham Palace and Clarence House.
Simon says, “I am genuinely excited about joining the “Thomson Family” as General Manager of Habitats. I’m looking forward to building positive and rewarding relationships with clients and colleagues alike, whilst developing the business further through a period of sustainable growth. We in the Habitats team envisage achieving this through a combination of optimising existing revenue streams and exploring new avenues of opportunity.”
