We are again setting up cameras for the coming season to monitor the use of connecting bridges for dormice on a site in Oxfordshire as part of a dormouse mitigation project.
We also set up the cameras last year, where vegetation was thinned for our client. To mitigate the effect on the dormice population the tree canopy was maintanined and two bridges were set up to connect one side of the site to the other.
We have previously installed dormouse next boxes and dormouse next tubes on areas of the site.
