We have been undertaking dormouse mitigation works for our client on a site in Oxfordshire, which has included laying a 100m length of hedge.
The hedge is being laid to mitigate for previous woodland thinning, to act as a connector between two sides of the site. (Experts will notice in the photo that it’s not yet complete!)
We are installing gates at either end of the hedge, and once the hedge is finished, we will install stock fencing either side to prevent deer and sheep from nibbling the shoots.
